Peace ya'll it's been a minute since i've updated my website or my blog on the internet, i had to take a break to deal with life for real & evalutate my plan.
I know I had promised that "Rather Unique" was coming these past two months but I reassessed the situation and realize that joint right there needs to be heard by as many people as possible..and just putting it out wouldn't cut it, it wouldn't get to as many people's ears that i'd like it to.
So I decided to save that joint for the summer. Don't worry it's ready..the world just has to get ready for it. That's why May 22nd I'm dropping my next tape "Born Alone, Die Alone". It is a very personal joint that I took time to craft exclusively with Mydus behind the production. It touches on the very core of my being, so I wanted to get that out to let the world know more about me, The Black Sunn, before I drop some really beautiful shit that people won't appreciate with "Rather Unique" ..I want the world to hear my voice. So this approach will hopefully get the most ears possible. I'm confident in it.
So bear with me folks. I'm gonna put out a new song around May 5th..I'm not going anywhere...get to know the name
I can't explain how I've been these past few days...it's beyond the word "disconnected". I realize I am disconnected from a lot of the world now...I don't indulge into the same mindless and petty behavior as some of my peers and even friends...I ain't even tryin to say that what they do is bad but it's just not me. I've always been this way to a degree but lately (and even more so as I dive further into my music than ever before) I have just felt more isolated than normal. An anomaly...Just...someone who is alone within a huge crowd...
I want to find the answer to this mental segregation but my drive to do this music is just too great to stop and seek help like...I have so much to say & I want everyone to hear it and the only way to have that happen is to stay on my grind. I want respect and beyond that fuck it all...it's all peripheral human bullshit that we create to indulge ourselves in...I'm about the fuckin art and that's it. Rather Unique is special to me but I've already completely it in my head and moved on... (even though it's not all physically recorded yet...it's about 60-70% done). I'm already planning and writing/associating already written songs with this next project I'm doing exclusively with Mydus...yea just me & Mydus, I'm going to call it Born Alone, Die Alone.
And well that title fits everything that I've been feeling right about now...ironically the sound scape I'm coming with it is gonna be a pleasant contradiction of the topics I plan to dive into...I'm sick like that...maybe too much into my own little world...fuck it, I believe it's genius to lure people into my own little sickness...heh...fuck vanity, fuck being correct, fuck morals, fuck the word fuck, fuck it all...I need a grip.
Even though things are looking bright for me musically, I feel like I'm on the brink of another depression. I can't seem to get my school and love life right it seems. The only thing right is this music...
...It's whatever though...I'mma just throw my all into this shit and keep going...regardless of the circumstances...
Late March I plan on putting out my Rather Unique tape with the help of illRoots and after that...I have something special...because we all are Born Alone, and Die Alone.

The second song is up, it's called THROUGH MY EYEZ and it features 810..we decided to do something a little more relaxed for this one, the beat is produced by Mydus.

As I said before I had some special shit this saturday for ya'll, well this is what it is. I'mma leak 3 songs from my new tape I'm working on (Rather Unique) just for ya'll, it's my gift to the world to show everyone that this music shit is not a joke to me, this isn't a game THIS IS MY LIFE.
The first joint is called Soul Liberation...It was produced by Varan...It will probably offend some people...That's ok, I will live with it, but I had to write the joint & I had to get what was on my mind off of it over this fire production.
