Yep. I've been listening to this album for the past year and a half and when I first heard it I thought this but I didn't express it. I like to let music sit and absorb for a little while before I make any judgments, but this album Below The Heavens...this shit right here nigga...is DEFINITELY our generations Illmatic. Before anyone crucifies me do yourself a favor and listen to this album. The intricate beats and wordplay that seamlessly flow together, the diverse subject material about the everyday lives that many people can definitely relate to, EVERYTHING about this album screams perfection (if not close to it). I have to give the utmost respect to Blu (and Exile for not creating the same beat over and over!). This shit is definitely a gem, and one that will be remembered for years to come.
Alright enough dickriding, go listen to the fuckin album if you haven't already!!!
