1. Moving out of the house
Yea I'm goin back to Frostburg this Fall, but I'm coming right back home during those breaks...I'm ready to move out and get my own apartment for real. The best way to do this is to transfer out of Frostburg though, so I gotta get my grades & everything else up to par so I can come to a school close to home. That'll allow me to commute there without spending thousands to live on campus...I swear college is a scam in a way.
2. Finishing this tape
It's about time I finish this tape so I can get it out there and let the world know I ain't no joke. The heads that know that I flow know that, but even they don't know how deep it really is...Who knows where it'll lead to after I do drop it, but as long as you have confidence you can do anything, right?
3. Fall semester '08
I'm beyond ready to smash this shit man..I didn't have the best of a first college year academically because...well I'll admit I was too focused on just enjoying LIFE. Near the end of spring semester this year I began to put a lot of things into perspective (those who really know me...KNOW what's up). I'm more focused on the school thing than I ever have been. Bet that.
4. The future of Hip Hop
Putting everything aside...the future does not look too bright. A lot of people are scared to call a spade a spade but...what's on the radio is NOT Hip Hop. It's not even Rap. That shit is glorified Techno music. We've moved into a direction that is disgusting. Hip Hop started underground, and that space & freedom allowed us to do MANY things artistically. Now that it's completely pop music, we have to make that "hit" or we're doomed to not being heard. There are plenty that could be blamed, (such as the older heads who did not instill pride of the music's past into the youth, who no longer respect it...or the young heads in my generation who are repeating the mistakes they made by glorifying our current "musical heroes" above past ones and are doomed to the same fate as them)...but seriously let's stop blaming people and get involved...it starts with the fans. Don't just claim you like an artist and only download their music. Support them in some way. Go to the shows, buy merchandise, etc etc these things will let the labels know that we want that kind of music...they will invest in what we want. So if you don't want that dumb shit anymore take action.
5. Growing Locs
This one...this one is AH! I been growing my hair since December of '07 and I did not start coil twisting my hair until the end of May...due to unforeseen setbacks I had to switch from the coil twists to two strand twists. They manage better and I can clean my scalp much easier without my damn hair coming loose but I don't know how much longer I can be patient. I mean my hair grows pretty fast but it's gonna be a while before I have the long locs that I really want..for those that wanna know I'm aiming for this:
Patience makes perfect, right? LOL
Well anyway that's it for now...bout to go write lyrics and zone out to the dumb material that's on TV. Peace Ya'll

Yeah I'm focusing on the school thing too this year and getting my certifications in computer repair and a couple of programing languages. I've been done with hip hop for a minute. I just realized to do shit you gotta do it yourself. So I don't fuck with radio at all. Barely the internet. Hip hop is what people like me you and a few others do. Its like rare to find a real hip hop head now. Its crazy
