I've been trying to think of a good workout routine that could keep my attention without me burning out at the peak. I officially think I am done with weights, I want to do this naturally without the machines...So I am posting my routine up here just for self reference. I also will be keeping track of everything I do on this blog as well, so hopefully it will motivate others to get into peak physique. The only way to stop from being a sheep is to take control of everything around you, starting with your body, which is the temple for everything you do. I'm just trying to get to that next level.
With a healthy body, comes a healthy mind, and everything else positive.
Also important to note I have been weight training for about 5 months and I am able to keep a high stamina...so If you want to try this new routine I suggest cutting down on the number of reps significantly. You know your body better than anyone else so I can't tell you what to start with.
Here's the routine:
Alternating every other day, only during the weekdays (Ex. Mon, Wed, Fri...Then Tues, Thurs the next week)
During the odd numbered days:
- 30 Squat Thrusts + Push Ups
- 30 Squats
- 30 Push ups
- Skip Rope for 2 minutes straight
- Hill sprint
- 10 squat-thrusts at the top of the hill
- Jog down the hill
- 20 push-ups at bottom of hill
- Repeat 4 more times for a total of 5
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Its really simple and quick, but killer. Warm up with a jog for five minutes then sprint as fast as you can for 30 seconds, slow down to a light jog/ walk for 1 minute and a half. Then sprint as fast as you can for another 30 seconds, then light jog/ walk again after for a minute and a half. Repeat this like 6- 10 times depending how fit you are.
Get at me, especially if u have any questions...
